Supergirl, you're one of the most powerful creatures on the planet. If someone intelligent were to come after you, they wouldn't attack you directly. They'd try to trick you. Surprise you. Remember Supergirl... only your body's invulnerable.—Batman
One of the old photos I have of Patuxai, taken during my first visit to Vientiane a few years back. See more in random places.
To photograph a chicken takes patience and Olympic-class squatting ability. You must get down…wayyyyy down…into a squat position and stay there for about four hours while training your camera on the chicken and waiting for him or her to gaze in your direction. If you try and rush said gaze by, say, whistling, you will alarm the chicken into facing the wrong way, running the wrong way or taking a poop.--Robin Ripley
The paragraph above...so true! Photographing chickens not only challenges your skills as a photographer, it's also one of the ultimate tests of an individual's patience. Try it.
"If you trouble me, I will overlook you, and then your pigs will die, your horses stray, your cream turn sour, your barns be fired, your son have St. Vitus's dance, your daughter fits, and so on, woe on woe, till you are very probably starved to death in a ditch, by virtue of this terrible little eye of mine"
I don't really like the quote above, but it goes well with this photo. This is my most favorite charm, and I wear it everyday. I believe in it's power as an instrument of the Great Divine to ward off someone with the evil eye.
My life is part humor, part roses, part thorns.
...and am lovin' it!
